Brief Description/Abstract/Concept

This project focuses on enhancing the usability and visual presentation of the COVID-19 Impact Dashboard. The dashboard serves as a comprehensive tool for exploring the pandemic's worldwide impact, offering features like timeline animation with responsive graph, global and regional comparisons, trend analysis, and detailed insights into case and death data. My goal was to propose improvements to its layout and data visualization to make it more engaging and accessible.

Why This Topic (Motivation/Inspiration)

The COVID-19 pandemic reshaped how we consume information, making accessible and accurate data dashboards essential for public understanding. While the existing dashboard is robust in functionality, it could benefit from refined usability and intuitive design to better support diverse user needs. My pitch stems from a desire to bridge the gap between data complexity and user-friendly storytelling, helping users make informed interpretations of the pandemic’s trends.
